Big dAta and Software Engineering research lab (BASE research lab)
The exponential growth of data in the last decade has stimulated a new specialization for the software industry: data-intensive or big data, software systems. Big data applications should be able to scale to accommodate increasing data growth while maintaining scalability and reliability. The mission of the BASE laboratory is to design, implement and evaluate algorithms and techniques for developing applications that serve the community. Currently, the BASE research lab focuses on software engineering support for big data systems and deep learning algorithms. Our lab collaborates with research labs in the agriculture college to advance precision agriculture and has secured federal funds from USDA for this project.
The BASE resarch lab is actively seeking well-motivated Ph.D. and MSc. students to work on different projects.

Indian faculty and researchers who are in the early stages of their research careers in India. This fellowship will provide you an opportunity to strengthen your research capacities.
